The Jamaica Gazette is the official publication of the Government of Jamaica. The first volume was published in 1845. The Gazette is one of the means by which Jamaicans can access the laws that govern their daily lives.

Government Ministries and Agencies and other public bodies as well as private individuals and entities are required by law (The Jamaica Gazette Act, 1906) to publish certain information in the Jamaica Gazette.
